Neurofeedback in Perth
What is neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is gentle, non-invasive brain training. Sensors read your brain activity while you listen to music, and brief pauses in the music give your brain feedback.
There's nothing to switch on or push through, and you don't need a diagnosis to start. Sessions are available in our Wembley clinic, or with a NeurOptimal home system you can rent and use with your family.

Fees and funding
Ways to pay for your sessions
You may be able to claim some or all of your sessions. If you're unsure which applies to you, we'll help you work it out on your free call.
Private health
Claim a rebate on OT if your extras cover includes it. Check with your fund for your limits.
Medicare
Rebated sessions with a GP chronic disease management plan and referral.
DVA
For eligible veterans and families, with a referral from your GP.
NDIS
For self-managed and plan-managed participants.
Support at Home
Allied health, home modifications and equipment for older Australians, through your provider.
Paying privately? You can book directly. No referral or diagnosis needed.

About Bita
Meet Bita Farahani, Senior Occupational Therapist
Bita has worked as an OT for 20 years across mental health, disability, community and aged care. She keeps her practice small on purpose, so every client gets her time and attention.
Bita also works closely with Persian, Afghan and Indian families, and understands how culture and family shape the way people look after their health.

Ask a questionDo I need a referral to see an OT?
No. You can book directly with us. A GP referral is only needed if you want to claim through Medicare or DVA.
Do I need a diagnosis for neurofeedback?
No. Before your first session we complete a short wellbeing assessment together, so we understand what you'd like to work on.
How many neurofeedback sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Everyone is different, so we talk about this at your first session and review it together as you go.
Can I see you by telehealth?
Yes. Occupational therapy sessions and many assessments are available by telehealth, anywhere in Australia.
What can I claim through Support at Home?
Support at Home can fund allied health such as occupational therapy, as well as home modifications and assistive technology, depending on your assessed needs and budget. We can work with your provider to confirm what's covered.
